Dragons in Our Midst Cotton Scarf

Fiery four clawed dragons, symbolic of majesty and authority landing on our verdant green forests. Qing Emperor Guang Xu’s silk scroll blessing, ‘Calm seas to Nanyang’ was presented to our oldest Chinese temple in honour of those who sojourned south from China. These same pioneers who ventured into forests, overcame tigers and sculptured our city in a garden. Their protective shield lives on as does our dragon spirit of adventure and enterprise.
