Fort Canning Hill Silk Scarf
ONLINE and STUDIO EXCLUSIVE
Walk with me through the history of Singapore, up the “Forbidden Hill”, as it was known in the 14th Century. At its peak is said to have stood a gleaming palace, overlooking the Singapore River that flows beneath. We find our winding way through the lush tropical foliage to the top, passing through gateways, arches and moments from Singapore’s past. As we revel in the sudden aromas of the herbs and spice garden, a melange of handsome colonial monuments greets us - the former military barracks, the fort gate, the gothic gate, the cupolas, and the light house atop. The past lives in the present, the natural in the urban, and the majestic in the modern, all come together as one at Fort Canning Hill.
