As designers nothing is more exciting than dabbling on new mediums and to keep testing the extent of our arts. While we have worked on fabric/apparel, wallpaper, furniture, book illustration and building facades, we have not explored digital media and couldn't wait for the opportunity.
When DesignSingapore Council approached us to be a part of National Design Centre display for Singapore Night Festival 2022 we were so elated. Like everyone else, we eagerly awaited the return of this festival after two years hiatus to celebrate the diverse eccentricities of Bras.Basah Bugis (BBB) precinct.
Projection mapping is one of the main draws of this festival, and this year we are so humbled to have our signature vibrant prints projected in the inner atrium of National Design Centre. We were just so giddy with excitement when we first saw the projection.
Aux Media Group turned Binary Style's multi-coloured universe into a mesmerizing projection mapping which is set against paper flora arrangement by PAPERSYNTHESIS. Nearby SERIAL CO_ exhibits beckon visitors to marvel at the world's first living and growing NFT plants. This collaborative art project titled TERRARIUM is truly a hybrid art installation that combines dynamic projection of original artworks, sounds, paper art, and digital realm.
Visitors can expect themselves to step into an immersive garden landscape where the digital and the physical intertwined and to be indulged by colorful digital storytelling centered around this year theme of REBIRTH.
This is truly a sensory experience for all ages. Get your camera ready!
